بررسي ساختار ژانري مقالات دانشنامگي تخصصي: مقايسة مقالات زندگينامه اي و مقالات موضوعي

A comparative structural move analysis of topical and biographical Encyclopedia articles

پژوهش حاضر به منظور تحليل ژانري و استخراج حركات و گام هاي ساختاري حاكم بر اين گونه مداخل به منظور آشناسازي متخصصان ايراني دخيل در امر دانشنامه نگاري صورت گرفت. در مجموع 240 مدخل از دانشنامه تخصصي ادبيات جهان ميريام وبستر (1995) به صورت تصادفي انتخاب شد كه از اين ميان 120 مدخل زندگينامه اي و 120 مدخل موضوعي بودند. از نرم افزار انتموور (انتوني، 2003) و نيز كدگذاري دستي، براي استخراج حركات و گام هاي ساختاري موجود در اين مداخل استفاده شد. از چارچوب پيشنهادي راسمينين (2006) و يانگ و اليسون (2003 و 2004) نيز به منظور مشخص كردن انواع حركات ساختاري (يعني حركات اجباري، حركات اختياري و حركات معمول) در ژانر دانشنامگي استفاده شد. يافته هاي پژوهش نشان داد كه ساختار ژانري مداخل موضوعي، با ساختار ژانري مداخل زندگينامه اي، تفاوت هاي مشخصي دارد. در اين مقاله، يافته هاي پژوهش حاضر، به منظور بهره برداري پژوهشگران ايراني عرضه شده اند.

The present paper reports on an empirical study that involved the structural move analysis of encyclopedic genre. For purposes of the current study، a corpus of 240 encyclopedic entries (120 topical entries and 120 biographical entries) were randomly chosen from Merriam-Webster's Encyclopedia of Literature. They were then converted into *.txt files and fed into AntMover، the computer software developed for structural move analysis by Anthony (2003). A human coder also coded the texts at two different times with a three-week interval. To avoid random carry-over effect، the human coder used the counter-balanced design in his coding of the texts. Rasmeenin’s (2006) and Yang and Allison’s (2003) frameworks were employed to identify the obligatory، conventional، and optional moves in the texts. Results indicated that topical and biographical encyclopedic entries do differ in rhetorical structure. The findings of this study can help Iranian encyclopediographers to better understand the standard structure of encyclopedia entries.
