Introduction and criticism of the book of ‘instruction of Arabic language with functional approach’

كتاب "نحو تعليم اللغة العربية وظيفياً " اثر "داود عبده" از جمله تأليفات نادر و پيشتاز در زمينه آموزش زبان عربي با رويكرد نقش گرا / كاركردگرا در جهان عرب به شمار مي رود. از اين رو، در پژوهش حاضر با روش توصيفي - تحليلي به معرفي اين كتاب و نيز بررسي و نقد آن بر مبناي اصول رويكرد نقش گرا پرداخته ايم. به اين منظور پس از مقدمه اي گذرا پيرامون مباني آن ، نقاط قوت و ضعف اين كتاب مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است. كتاب مد نظر، با زباني ساده و شيوا زمينه آشنايي نظام آموزشي كشورهاي عربي با رويكرد كاركردگرا در آموزش زبان را در دهه هفتاد فراهم آورده است، و طبيعي است كه اين پيشگامي موجب بروز برخي كاستي ها در قسمت هاي مختلف كتاب شده است. بارزترين آن ها خلأ مباني روان شناسي و زبان شناسي و نيز كاركردهاي اجتماعي زبان در اين رويكرد است. همچنين به راهبردهاي رويكرد كاركردگرا در آموزش برخي از مهارت هاي زبان نيز پرداخته نشده است.

The book of ‘instruction of Arabic language by functional approach’ by “Davood Abdeh” is one of the rare and vanguard compilations in the field of Arabic language instruction with the functional approach in Arabic world. Hence, the present study introduces the book in descriptive-analytic method and criticizes it according to the principles of functional approach. Accordingly, after a short introduction about its bases, positive and negative points of the book are reviewed. By an eloquent and simple language, the book is like a base for familiarizing instruction system of Arabian countries with functional approach in language instruction; of course this has caused some deficiencies in different parts of the book that the most important of them is the absence of psychological, linguistic and social functions in the approach. Also, there is no guideline for functional approach in instruction of some language skills.
