Critical Review of the Book “English for the Students of Comparative Education: primary and preschool Education”

آموزش‌ و پرورش تطبيقي نظام تحقيقي است كه ما را به ‌منظور دستيابي به شناخت جديد درزمينه هاي نظري و عملي از طريق مقايسه دو يا چند نظام تربيتي در كشورها و مناطق مختلف و يا ادوار تاريخي متفاوت ياري مي‌ دهد. مراد از تطبيق بررسي و تحليل مشابهت ‌ها و تفاوت ‌هاي موجود بين سيستمهاي مختلف تربيتي درزمينه هاي سازماني، تشكيلاتي، شيوه‌ هاي مديريت، برنامه‌ ها و روش ‌هاي تربيتي و همچنين ارزشيابي ‌هاي آموزشي در مراحل مختلف تعليم و تربيت است. از نظر مفهوم كلي اين علم كليه وجوه، ابعاد و مسائل نظام‌ هاي آموزش ‌و پرورش را با هم مقايسه مي ‌كند، در اغلب دانشگاه‌ هاي دنيا از جمله دانشگاه‌ هاي اروپايي و آمريكايي جزء مواد درسي و تحقيقاتي سطوح فوق ‌ليسانس و دكتراست. در مورد هدف‌ هاي آموزش ‌و پرورش تطبيقي نظرات مختلفي وجود دارد، ولي هدف اصلي آن، توجه ملت‌ ها و دولت‌ ها به چگونگي جريان تعليم و تربيت و روش ‌هايي است پيش‌ گرفته شده ‌و نتايج حاصل از اقدامات آن‌ ها است. نقد كتاب «انگليسي براي دانشجويان رشته آموزش ‌و پرورش تطبيقي: آموزش ‌و پرورش ابتدايي و آموزش ‌و پرورش پيش ‌دبستان» نشان داد كه اثر حاضر علاوه بر علمي بودن، از ويژگي ‌هاي درسي و آموزشي لازم تا حد زيادي برخوردار هست، البته معدود كاستي‌هايي در اين كتاب وجود دارد، در اين مقاله پيشنهاد‌هايي نيز براي ارتقاء كيفي اثر ارائه گرديده است.

Comparative Education is a research system, which helps the researcher to recognize the theoretical and practical background of two or more educational systems in different countries or regions. The aim this kind of comparison is to analyze the similarities and differences between different educational systems in terms of organizational, structural, Educational management, evaluation of training programs, and educational methods at different stages of education. Based on general concept, comparative education compares all issues with regard to education in countries, and considered as a course in MA and doctoral degree in European and American universities. There are different views towards the aims of comparative education. Borrowing other countries education model is not without problem, however paying attention to educational experiences of other countries can be beneficial in terms of choosing the best solution with regard to their own social characteristics. This book entitled “English for the Students of Comparative Education: Primary and Preschool Education” is not only an academic book, but also an educational textbook which includes the characteristics of teaching and learning concepts. Along with several positive points in this book, there are a few shortcomings pointed out and some suggestions are provided to improve the textbook, as well.
