The role of police stations in preventing vehicle theft

زمينه و هدف: پديده سرقت به عنوان يك عمل مجرمانه و نفرت‌انگيز يكي از معضلات عمدۀ جوامع بشري بوده و پليس همواره به دنبال راهي بوده تا با شناخت اقدامات تأثيرگذار در حوزه پيشگيري از سرقت در بُعد ساختاري و مأموريتي، راهكار هدفمند و مؤثري را جهت از ميان بردن يا كاهش سرقت ارائه كند. ايستگاه‌هاي پليس يكي از مراكز انتظامي است كه مي‌تواند در پيشگيري از سرقت به ويژه سرقت خودرو، عملكرد مؤثري داشته باشد. بنابراين، پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسي نقش ايستگاه‌هاي پليس در ميزان پيشگيري از سرقت خودرو در منطقه جنوب غرب تهران است. روش‌شناسي: پژوهش حاضر از نظر هدف و ماهيت، كاربردي و از حيث روش اجرا، پيمايشي بصورت توصيفي – تحليلي است. براي جمع‌آوري داده‌ها، از روش ميداني و از ابزار پرسشنامۀ محقق ساخته استفاده شد. جامعه آماري شامل كاركنان كلانتري‌هاي جنوب غرب شهر تهران به تعداد 141 نفر است كه جهت سنجش اعتبار گويه‌ها، از روش اعتبار صوري استفاده شده و سنجش و بررسي پايايي پرسشنامه نيز از طريق آزمون آلفاي كرونباخ صورت پذيرفت. يافته‌ها و نتيجه‌گيري: يافته‌ها و نتايج پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه محل استقرار ايستگاه‌هاي پليس، مديريت صحيح، استعداد سازماني نيروها و تجهيزات سازماني اين ايستگاه‌ها در پيشگيري از سرقت خودرو مؤثر مي‌باشد. بر‌اساس پژوهش انجام شده و نيز تجارب حاصل از فعاليت انتظامي انجام شده توسط پژوهشگران در طول ساليان گذشته مي‌توان اين‌گونه نتيجه‌گيري نمود كه متناسب با وسعت و عمق تعاملات و تبادلات بين پليس و افراد جامعه مي‌توان به نحو مؤثري از وقوع گستردۀ جرايم در سطح جامعه پيشگيري كرد.

The phenomenon of theft as a criminal offense is one of the major problems of human societies. Police have always been looking for a way to identify effective measures in the field of theft prevention in the field of structural and mission, and to offer an effective solution for eliminating or reducing this offense. Police stations are one of the police stations that can be effective in preventing theft, in particular car theft. Therefore, the present study aims to investigate the role of police stations in preventing vehicle theft in the southwestern region of Tehran. Methodology: The present study is applied in terms of purpose and nature, and as a method of implementation, it is a survey and descriptive-analytic. To collect data, field method and researcher-made questionnaire were used. The statistical population included 141 staff members in the south west of Tehran city. The face validity method was used to assess the validity of the items, and the reliability of the questionnaire was assessed by Cronbach's alpha. Findings and Conclusion: Findings and results of the research show that the location of police stations, correct management, organizational talent and organizational equipment of these stations are all effective in preventing vehicle theft. Based on the research carried out and the experiences of law enforcement activities conducted by researchers over the past years, one can conclude that, in proportion to the breadth and depth of interactions and exchanges between the police and the community, crimes can be effectively prevented at the community level.
