Critical Realism and Foreign Policy of Islamic Republic of Iran

سياست خارجي جمهوري اسلامي ايران از منظر نظريه هاي مختلف روابط بين الملل توسط پژوهشگران داخلي و خارجي مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است. مهمترين چالش پيش روي همه اين نظريه ها، تحليل و توضيح جنبه هاي متضاد سياست خارجي ايران بوده است. در اين مقاله، ما چارچوب جديدي براي بررسي و تحليل سياست خارجي جمهوري اسلامي ايران ارائه و استدلال مي كنيم كه اين چارچوب، مي تواند تناقضات و تفاوت هاي ظاهري سياست خارجي ايران را توضيح دهد. «رئاليسم انتقادي» چارچوبي است كه از نظر ما براي تحليل سياست خارجي ايران تناسب بيشتري دارد. اين حوزه نظري، در ميانه رئاليسم و نظريه انتقادي در روابط بين الملل قرار دارد و ضمن اينكه برخي از اصول و شاخصه هاي هركدام از اين دو را داراست، تفاوت هايي نيز با هر يك از آن ها دارد. رئاليسم انتقادي ضمن قائل بودن به تغيير وضع موجود و دارا بودن ماهيت ضدهژمونيك، دولت محوري و اهميت قدرت را نيز ناديده نمي گيرد. مقاله در دو قسمت ابتدا به شرح و توضيح نظريه رئاليسم انتقادي و ويژگيهاي آن مي پردازد و سپس تناسب و تطابق اين نظريه را با سياست خارجي جمهوري اسلامي ايران مورد بررسي قرار مي دهد.

Different Iranian and international researchers have studied the foreign policy of Islamic Republic of Iran، using theories of foreign policy and international relations. The most important challenge facing all this studies، has been analyze and explain the contradictory aspects of Iran's foreign policy. This study proposes a new framework for analyzing the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and argues that this framework can explain Iran's foreign policy contradictions and differences . The authors argue that using the Critical Realism as a new conceptual framework in international relations is a better way of understanding the different aspects in Iran foreign policy. Critical Realism stands between Realism and Critical theory in international relations and while has some common points with them، has also some different with each of them. This article has two main parts: The first part is to explain the concept of Critical Realism and its position in international relations theory deals. The second part examines the appropriateness and matching theory to explain the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
