يادداشتي بر جاي گاه هند در برخي متون حماسي

A note on the standpoint of India in certain epic texts

در موضوع حماسه و حماسه سرايي در ايران و يادگارهاي برجاي مانده از آن، كارهاي ارزشمندي در يك سده گذشته به چا پ رسيده است. با وجود اين، درباره آثاري چون گرشاسپ نامه، فرامرزنامه، شهريارنامه، آذربرزين نامه و بهمن نامه كم تر نقدهايي بر پايه شرايط خاص اجتماعي و سياسي ايرانِ نخستين سده هاي اسلامي نوشته شده است. در اين چند اثر ارزشمند حماسي، جغرافياي رخ دادها به هندوستان مرزمند مي شود و همه پهلوانان با رستم، قهرمان ملي، درهم تنيده اند. نگارنده با پرسش بر اين دو موضوع، باور دارد كه مهاجرت تاريخي زرتشتيان به هند سرآغاز تغييرات معنادار در ادب فارسي و بويژه ادبِ حماسي بوده است. نگارنده، پررنگ شدن نامِ هند در اين دسته از يادگارنوشته هاي حماسي و نيز تنيدگيِ نام پهلوانان را با رستم، با فعاليت هاي زرتشتيان در نخستين سده هاي اسلامي در كران سيستان و نيز مهاجرت آنان به هند را هم پيوند مي داند

Ever since the last century regarding epic and its composition many valuable works have been published, yet on works such as Garshasbnameh, Faramarznameh, Shahriyarnameh,Azarbarzinnameh, and Bahmannameh one hardly comes across critical commentaries written based on the special social and political circumstances of Iran in the first Islamic centuries. In the above magnificent epics, the geography of events lead to India and all heroes are intertwined with Rostam, the national hero. The reason for these facts according to the study of these works is the historic migration of Zoroastrians to India which to a large extent influenced Persian literature and brought about meaningful changes in epic literature in particular. Zoroastrians’ activities in early post conquest centuries of Islam in Sistan province and their later migration to India are well connected with India being so bold in these epics and the central role of Rostam and his close connection with the champions in epic works is the outcome of this migration.
