بررسي تأثيرات جنگ جهاني اول بر ساختارهاي اجتماعي مناطق غربي ايران

Study of the World War I Effects on the Social Structures of the Western Regions of Iran

در جنگ جهاني ‌اول، مناطق غربي ايران به علت موقعيت جغرافيايي استراتژيك خود به محل رويارويي و برخوردهاي نظامي و سياسي دولت‌هاي متفق و متحد تبديل شدند؛ اين مناطق با امپراتوري عثماني هم‌مرز بودند و در منطقه نفوذ دولت روسيه قرار داشتند. در پژوهش حاضر، پيامدهاي اجتماعي، اقتصادي و سياسي جنگ ‌جهاني‌ اول بر اين منطقه بررسي شد. براساس يافته‌هاي اين پژوهش، جمعيت بسياري از اين منطقه بر اثر برخوردهاي نظامي، گرسنگي، قحطي و بيماري‌هاي ناشي از جنگ كشته شدند. شهرها به پايگاه نظامي قدرت‌هاي متخاصم تبديل و پايه‌هاي اجتماعي و اقتصادي اين منطقه همانند نهادهاي اجتماعي شهري و كشاورزي نابود شدند. نابودشدن نظارت حكومت مركزي، پايمال‌شدن اقتدار حاكمان محلي و نابودشدن ثبات سياسي از ديگر پيامدهاي اين جنگ بودند.

During the World War I, the western district of Iran was the place of military and political conflicts of the Entente and Alliance states, owing to its strategic geographical location. On the one side, it was bordered by the Ottoman Empire, and on the other side it was located under the influence of Russia. In this research, we try to consider the impacts of the World War I on the social, economic and political spheres. Based on the results of the research, large numbers of people of this area were killed due to military combats, starvation, famine and disease during the war. Cities became the military base of the hostile powers and economic and social institutions such as municipal and farming were destroyed. The domination of the central government, and the authority of local governors and political stability were exhausted.
