Factor Analysis and Validation of Women's Career Aspiration Scale

رشد و پيشرفت شغلي زنان پيچيده است و بايد آن را از زواياي چند بعدي بررسي كرد روش پژوهش مطالعه،روش ­شناسي و از نوع مطالعات روش شناختي است. جامعه پژوهش دانشجويان دختر دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي واحد اراك مي باشد كه تعداد 181 نفر از آن­ها با استفاده از نمونه گيري در دسترس(آسان) انتخاب شدند. سپس پرسشنامه آرزوهاي مسير شغلي گري و اوبرايان بين آن­ها توزيع گرديد. اين مقياس ابتدا به فارسي ترجمه و سپس به انگليسي برگردانده شد. جمعي از متخصصان، پرسش­نامه را براي تعيين حساسيت­هاي فرهنگي، وضوح سوالات، موارد اختلاف و خطاهاي موجود در معنايابي بررسي كردند.يافته ­ها نشان داد ضريب آلفاي كرونباخ براي كل پرسش­نامه 0/87 و براي خرده ­مقياس­ها از 0/82 تا 0/92 متغير بود. همه موارد همبستگي موردكلي قابل قبولي داشتند. نتايج آزمون - بازآزمون نشان­دهنده ثبات براي پرسشنامه آرزوهاي مسير شغلي زنان بود. تحليل عاملي اكتشافي و تاييدي بيانگر 2 خرده­ مقياس قابل قبولي بود. نتايج نشان داد نسخه فارسي آرزوهاي مسير شغلي زنان روايي و پايايي خوبي را نشان داده است و جهت سنجش آرزوهاي مسير شغلي زنان در كنار ساير متغير هاي شغلي مي توان از آن در نمونه ايراني استفاده كرد.

Women's career development is complex and should be examined from multidimensional angles considering socialMethods: the study employs a correlational the research population consists of female students in Islamic Azad University, Arak Branch, and Iran. 181 individuals were selected out of the population by the convenience sampling method. Then, copies of the Career Aspiration Scale (CAS) developed by Gary and O'Brien were distributed among them. This scale was first translated into Persian and then back-translated into English. A team of experts reviewed the scale for determining cultural sensitivities, clarity of questions, differences and errors in meaning.The results illustrated that Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the whole scale was 0.87 and for its subscales, it ranges from 0.82 to 92.9. All cases enjoyed acceptable correlation. The results of the test-retest showed a consistency for the Women’s Career Aspiration Scale. The exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis indicated two acceptable subscales.The results illustrated that the Persian version of the Women’s Career Aspiration Scale has good reliability and validity, and it can be used in Iranian sample for measurement of the of women's career aspirations along with other career variables.
